We enjoyed an awesome cooking class with area youth. Made our own version of mac and cheese using Good Food Box vegetables. Yum! Enjoyed delicious smoothies, garden salad and topped off with fresh cantelope for dessert. Great fun!

We were invited to exhibit at the first Mind Crawl, McMaster University Student Union featuring Intersectionality and Mental Health. Food is a necessary and important part of our lives. Gathering for food leads to gentle conversations and warm family like atmospheres where one feels accepted and safe. Conversations flow, cares are shared and tensions wash away over food. What a joy and pleasure to be included in the first ever exhibit featuring Community Food Advisers. We enjoyed ourselves and it was a success. We are already planning for next year! See you there.
